Hi Scott
You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, so, I will have to
take a guess. Try the following and see if it helps:
Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab>under the Security section of
the
list.
Tick the "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer" check box,
and then click OK.
Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab>under Browsing
Check the box next to "Disable Script Debugging"
and UNcheck the box next to "Display a notification about every script
error"
If still no joy.....
If the security level is set to high then it will be blocking ActiveX
controls: Set the security level to Medium.
Go to Tools>Internet Options>Security tab>
Click on the "Internet" selection in the window, then click Custom Level.
In
the window near the bottom of the dialog box, change the setting to Medium
if not already set to that, and click OK. (Note: You may have to be
logged
on as Administrator in order for the change to stay.)
and....

How to make a good newsgroup post:

I visited a website. There was a blue bar saying something to install
ActiveX program in order to display the web pages correctly. I clicked
the bar and selected "Install ActiveX program". The system did not
install the program and the bar disappeared. Next time I visit the
website, the bar appears again but I still can't install the program. Can
someone advise the possible causes and fixes to this issue.
Thanks,
Scott
