what have i to do ?

who can help me ?

ain't trying to install WinPOET by chance?

in system properties click hardware, then click driver signing and set
option to `warn`

I am having the same problem.. thus far this is what i am
finding out. I have 2 pcs that i bought from work. I
notice that the service packs had not been installed so i
do it. 1 I backuped during the service pack install, the
other I didn't. Both kept rebooting during any software
install at a point where it looked like it was accessing
the registry or something. So I recovered back to my old
version of win2k and isntalled a few things fine. I then
upgraded to service pack 3 not 4 and continued installing
software fine. The one that i didn't choose to backup I
am screwed on and think I have to reinstall the old
version of win2k then upgrage to service pack 3 then 4 to
get it to work properly. it really suck cause that is the
system with the printer attached to it. Any ideas would
be helpful.
