Can't insert WMA files

I cannot insert WMA files into presentations.Other sound
file types seem ok still.I have checked the appropriate
registry entries and these appear fine. I have also
installed recommended codecs. No joy on either front.
Any suggestions?

Machine is running with Windows xp and Powerpoint 2002

Which version of WMA. You may need to install version 9 of the codec from:

Thanks for the reply. Version 9 is the codec already
installed.Any other thoughts?
