Can't insert a picture from My Document/My Pictures

I have done this many times in the past, but for some
reason, when I try to insert a Gallery Picture (in Turbo
Lister) I get this message - "ERROR: The file you've
selected is not a valid picture file. Please select a
valid picture file."
I have always downloaded my Digital Pictures to the My
Pictures folder in My Documents. When I click for
insertion of the first picture, My Documents Folder/My
Pictures comes into view. But it won't let me insert the
picture into Turbo Lister. What is the matter? Thanks for
any help

Can you go to your My Pictures folder and open
the exact same image in Windows Picture and
Fax Viewer?

What format is the image saved in?

Have you done a full system virus scan using the
most recent definitions?
