For some reason my home version of IE6 wont allow saving
as mht, it wont even offer the choice, only html & txt
available. My office PC saves in mht. My office PC run XP
Pro & my home PC run XP home. I read somewhere that maybe
it was Outlook Express missing, but in my case it's not
missing. Any ideas??

Maybe I wasn't clear in my first post, I'm not missing
Outlook Express & Inetcomm.dll is installed. Also the
knolegebase article refers to Win95,98 & WinNT, not XP.

Any other suggestions???

I don't know the source of your problem. If you can't solve it and MS Word,
this may be a workaround:

This add-in, though apparently designed for a different purpose, puts MHT
pack-to-Web-archive and unpack-Web archive options on your right-click menu
for HTML files. If you can save as Web page, with the HTML and folder, the
add-in should let you combine the two into a Web archive after the fact,
though you still will have the original file and folder. It still will not
be optimum, but it may help you and is good to have anyway.

Good luck.
