Sorry, but I don't really know much about computers so here goes...
I have a digital camera and it saves the files in IFO/BUP and VRO formats
but when I go to import into Movie Maker, I am unable to as there are
compatibility issues. How can I import these files or do I need to convert
them first and if so, how? The only CD I got with the camera is Nero and it
doesn't do anything that I need to do. PLEASE HELP!!!

Your camera must use DVD's as opposed to tape since those appear to be
finalized DVD formats. When making a DVD, PC DVD video editing software will
produce those types of files but won't recognize them as a format you can
edit. In otherwords, the software won't allow you to go backwards.

Even if your PC recognizes your camera as a "drive" when you connect it, and
you can simply drag and drop the files onto your PC, you would still have to
find software that would convert the files to eg: MPEG so you could edit
them.

The camera's user manual should provide information on getting the video
into your PC in a format you can edit. I am just guessing but,

1) you have to connect your camera to your PC with a firewire,
2) your PC must have a video card for the capture (ATI, GEforce etc.)
3) Nero may be your video editing/capture software, if not you need video
editing/capture software.
4) If you have a firewire, a video card and video editing/capture software,
when you open the video editing/capture software your camera should be
recognized and you should be able to capture the video that's on the camera's
DVD onto your PC in a format that the video editing/capture software can
edit.
