Cant import files or add to storyboard

Every time I try to import any files of any type I get an error message
saying unable to import file; unspecified error. There is nothing showing in
collections then next time I open the program the file is there but I am
unable to add any files to the storyboard or timeline at all. Any clues ????

Even i'm facing the same problem... But wen the same is tried on a different
comp, the video gets added... Can anyone solve our problem....
