Can't import contacts or appointments from old hard drive.

Question/details/images of situation at www.daymented.com/outlook.ht
This is driving me batty - all of the contacts and appointments are *somewhere* on my hard drive but I can't find them/access them

Don't mess with import - find the old pst and use file, open, outlook data
file.
 
Um, what am I opening
My choices in F:.../Outlook are
extend (no file type
Microsoft Outlook Internet Setting
Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings.NIC
Microsoft Outlook Internet Settings.RW
outcm

Are any of those my contacts or calendar items

what if on trying to open the pst file, it says read only. When I change
the ro attribute, it won't let me due to the CD rom? Any thoughts? Also,
when trying to open the file in outlook, it says access denied...is this
related to the read only? Any advice?
