cant host online games

i have 2 computers - both connected to 1 router - and my computer does not
directly connect to the internet. People have told me about "Port Forwarding"
but is there any alternative? F.Y.I. im running windows vista home premium
service pack 1 (32-bit)

In that case you'd be better off asking in the *Vista* games group.

(What do you have against port forwarding?)
