B Bill Sanderson Sep 4, 2005 #2 This feature is buggy. In the machines I've observed, the tray icon hides until a scheduled scan happens. It re-hides on a restart of the machine. You cannot depend on the icon staying hidden. This will be fixed in beta2.

A Andre Da Costa [Extended64] Sep 4, 2005 #3 If you are running Windows XP I would use the taskbar properties to hide the icon. Right click an empty spot on the task bar, click properties > under Nortification Area > click "Customize" > select "Microsoft AntiSpyware - Active" click in the "Behavior" and choose "Always Hide" > click OK > OK. Best work around for the time being. Lets hope it gets resolved for beta 2. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm
