Can't go to symantec.com but can go to all other sites

I can not access the Symantec.com web site through IE. I
have reset all options, cleared all caches, even
reinstalled IE, but still no go. I can access the site
through AOL however, which uses the same browser. I have
been to AOL Hlep, my ISP Hlep but no cigar so far.
SYmantec will charge me to talk to me. The problem is
because i the web site can't be accesses NAV Liveupdate
doesn't work. Has anyone encountered this problem?

have you scanned for virus lately. and in ie
tools,options,advanced,uncheck'enable third party browser
extensions,apply. to see that no spyware is cutting the
connection. spybot safer-networking.org to scan for spyware.
try going to us.mcafee.com or grisoft.com if you can't
get into those virus sites then you could be infected.
