can't go to specified record

Hello,
I have a problem, whereby I have a subform with
continuous records whose data entry property is set to no,
however when I add the first record it is fine, but when I
add the second record, at the end of it I get the
message "Can't go to specified record".

Any ideas how can avoid this and what is causing it.
