Hello,

When reading a lot of the tips in windows xp basic I like to go to the
knowledge site that they are telling you to read, and until a few days ago I
could just click on their posted link and it would take me right to the
site. But now it will not go any place . I can open i.e. and type the url
but sometimes that is very hard to do cause its so long and to get it right
is a pain. Also my main e-mail is incredimail and it has always worked but
not now ..WHAT have I done to cause this?
Can there be help out there sure hope so.

Thanking you in advance
Joy

Hi

Try this:

From Start>Run type

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools>Internet Options>Programs and
click on 'Reset Web Settings'

Thanks for reply I typed in as you stated regsvr32 url/mon.dll and the
response was Load Libarary("url/mon.dll") failed The specified module could
not be found Now What is there some thing else I can try

Thanks again for your answer

Hey WILL,

I got it just by going to I. E. and clicking on tools internet options and
in the dropdown thingy it had a place to reset to default, it reset a lot of
things like my search engine but all is ok cause I think I can fix that.
I sure appreciate you help. Thanks a bundle.

Hi Joy

If you do it that way, you will reset a lot of other settings that you may
have personalized. Glad you're up and running again.

You typed the command wrongly into Start>Run. That's why you got the error
message.

I am not sure how to get the links to work, as mine only work some of the
time.
You do not have to type Web addresses, however. Cut and paste the address,
it is faster and more accurate.
Are you saying that your IncrediMail is not working at all? You may want to
contact IncrediMail.

Will,

Not to smart here, that is exactly what happened. Changed several things
that I did not want changed. But for future use what did I type wrong in
your instructions thought I did it right is this right
regsvr32.urlmon.dll ?????
Thanks for your time and help

Hello T
My incredimail is working fine it was just that I could not click on a link
in my e-mail to take me to the site. I always have to click a link to see
and get rid of spam that's why I wanted to be able for it to work right
I have very seldom gotten cut and paste to work I've tried it big time
most times it fails just like me.
Thanks for the response

Hi

You posted that you typed this

regsvr32 url/mon.dll

Which resulted in an error message. There's no forward slash in the
command.

He later asked if regsvr32.urlmon.dll was right.

If that is really what he typed it also would have failed because he put a
period in place of a space after 32.

Hi

The original command used was regsvr32 url/mon.dll However as you say
having two periods would have generated an error message as well saying
'Windows cannot find 'regsvr32.urlmon.dll'...'. Thank you for pointing that
out.
