Hi,
I have not been able to get the internet share to work. Here is my setup.

PC1 XP Home
PC2 2000 Advance Server

PC1 NIC1 (Wireless) 192.168.1.23
PC1 NIC2 (Wire) 192.168.2.1

PC2 NIC1 (wire) 192.168.2.99

Router 192.168.1.1

PC1 NIC 1 Gateway 192.168.1.1
PC1 NIC 2 Gateway 192.168.1.1

PC2 NIC 1 Gateway 192.168.2.1

If I enable NIC 2 on PC1 I lose Internet connectivity on PC1. but I can
connect to and from PC2
If I disable NIC 2 on PC1 I gain connectivity to the internet but I can not
connect to or from PC2

Any ideas?

When you use a router you are essentially setting up a network. All the
computers that want to share the connection should be on the same subnet(ie:
192.168.1.xx). You also don't need two nics in pc1. Choose one nic,
uninstall the other. Then set the router to be a dhcp server. It will assign
your computers ip addresses and share the internet. You didn't say how you
were connecting, but I assume broadband(most dialup doesn't need a router),
hook your connection into the router, computers into router and your done.

Ok, one thing I forgot I guess.
the router is 100ft away and I need the second PC next to the first one.
This is only a temp solution. I do not want to go and buy a wireless NIC for
the second PC. that is why I want to share the "wireless" connection form
the XP box.

Ok, got it to work.
Now the question is....
How do I forward requests from the router, to the XP box to the other PC?
