Does anybody know why the Outlook 2003 Send folder won't display in
single-line layout?

I've unchecked "Customize View - Other Settings - Use multi-line layouts in
widths smaller than __ characters" and checked "Always use single-line
layout". This works in all the other folders, but the Send folder continues
to display in multi-line layout.

This layout shows only the date/time on which the e-mail was sent. For each
e-mail, users have to click the + sign to open a second line in order to see
the usual From/To/Subject identifying information. (I can't imagine why
anyone would use it...)

Click on the Arrange by column and choose customize. Reset the view. Now see
if you can change the view - if you turn off the reading pane or make it
smaller you should get the one line view.
