Ben

After I set up a Domain and logged onto "MyDomain.com" with my Windows XP
system and then went back to a local logon all my net surfing was very slow.
After looking at my IPconfig/all I found that my Primary DNS Suffix was
still MyDomain.com. So I tried IPconfig/flushdns, but that didn't fix it.
I'm still stuck with my Primary DNS Suffix and DNS Suffix Search List being
set to MyDomain.com. How can I get this reset?

Thank you,
~Ben

That domain suffix will have little or no effect on your browsing
speed. Don't worry abou it.
So I tried IPconfig/flushdns,

This clears the list of sites you have previously resolves -- and
clearing it will SLOW your browsing a bit until it repopulates
the cache.

You can remove it in the System Control panel if you must.
You can remove any ADDITIONAL suffixes in the NIC\IP\Advanced\DNS
settings -- there is a bit more logic to removing these.

I figured it out. Under System Properties, Computer Name (TAB), Change
(button), More (button), I deleted the Primary DNS suffix of the computer.
Then after rebooting all was fine.
