Can't get rid of duplicates set of personal folders ...?

P

puzzled

I don't know how I have managed it but I have 2 sets of identical folders
labelled 'Outlook Today - [Personal Folders]' (Microsoft Outlook 2000 SP-3).
Looking at the folder properties they are both pointing to the same .pst
file. If I try to delete one set, I'm not allowed to delete folder that
contains calendar/ contacts?

TIA for any help ....

Create a new profile (do not copy it);
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles

To access your current pst-file in the new profile;
File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

To set it as the default delivery location;
Tools-> E-mail Accounts...-> button Next-> use the dropdownlist below

I don't have a Show Profiles button under Mail (Internet Accounts with Mail
tab - nothing about profiles);
I don't have E-mail Accounts/Next under Tools (Accounts
..../All/Mail/Directory Services?)
I am using Windows XP Home SP2/Outlook 2000 SP-3;

This might also help and may be simpler than my prior suggestion:
