Can't get past error messages

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'POP3.email.msn.com', Server: 'smtp.email.msn.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's
e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject
'', Account: 'POP3.email.msn.com', Server: 'smtp.email.msn.com', Protocol:
SMTP, Server Response: '550 5.7.3 Requested action aborted; user not
authenticated', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number:
0x800CCC78

These are the two messages I get when I try to send email through OE. Can't
seen to get past them-go around and around. Don't know how to apply settings
to get rid of them. Leery about reinstalling because of warnings of going in
to the registry. Could I bypass OE by creating a document in Word, and
pasting it into Hotmail--will it arrive in the shape I created it? Sorry
this is such a long post.
 
This should be posted to an Outlook Express newsgroup for mail issues - the
one you posted to is for Internet Explorer.
