Can't get outlook to be default e-mail.

Get a message every time I boot up that I need to change outlook to the
default mail program. I have. I also have Norton Internet Security 2005.
Is it possible that Windows XP Pro thinks Norton is the mail program because
it's intecepting everything first? Even if that's true how do I make the
recurring message go away?

Norton Internet Security will make an addin to OL, and this will be your
mail incoming/outbound scanning programme(you can disable this feature from
Norton) You can also make OL to be the default email client - start IE,
Tolls, Internet Options, Programms, Email - click on Outlook (not Outlook
Express).
