I can't get online after installing Beta MS Anti-sptware,
I unstalled the program and I am still able to get
online. After reading other posts this seems to be a
common issue. Is anyone aware of how to resolve this
problem??

Thanks

After you run Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta), you have network-related
problems, or you receive an error message

Get winsockxpfix.exe at:

http://www.iup.edu/house/resnet/winfix.shtm

Actual Download link may be hard to find on the page but
it is:

http://www.iup.edu/house/resnet/WinsockXPFix.exe

It will fit on a floppy so you can get it on a friend's
computer.

Another useful program for non XP users is lspfix.exe:

http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

I think both programs clean out unwanted lsps and restore
the file: Windows\System32\spOrder.dll

In antispy, Advanced Tools System Explorers Network
WinsockLSP there is a list of lsp files and it tells you
whether it thinks they are good guys or not.
