I have been trying for several days now to get a network
printer to work. When I run the add printer wiz on the
remote computer, it shows me the network printer, allows
me to add it as my default printer and everything seems
to be fine. However, when I try to print to it from an
application, I get the error "You do not have permission
to use the selected printer.....contact network
administrator." I have been thru everything I can think
of in the knowledge base looking for a source of the
problem. I have file sharing working fine, and I can
network share a printer on a different computer, but this
one computer (which also happens to be the ICS gateway)
cannot share this one printer. I'm about to pull my hair
out! Anyone have any ideas?

If the print server is xp or 2000 make sure the tcp/ip
print service has started in the services panel
