Can't get Netscape IMAP to connect with Outlook 2002

I can't retrieve my Netscape IMAP mail messages/folders
with Outlook 2002. I have carefully filtered through the
instructions and Outlook help files. I have tried every
possible combination of known login measures, but I cannot
get into the IMAP account with Outlook 2002. This is
strange, because I CAN get into the IMAP with Netscape,
which means I've got at least some of the settings right.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this miserable
problem?

I'm assuming you have erroneously referred to your mail server acccount
as "Netscape IMAP". Netscape is a web browser and doesn't provide IMAP
mail services.

I'm assuming that accessing this remote IMAP account works well with
Netscape mail client, but you can't do it with Outlook 2002.

Recommend you look carefully (write them down) all the connection
details in Netscape ( server name, port number if not default, login
details, etc.). Then setup a new IMAP account in Outlook and setup
exactly the same.

Frankly, it's no more complicated than that. I'm sure it's some small
detail that has been over-looked. I'm pretty sure that Outlook 2002
works ok with IMAP.

(Make sure that Netscape is not running with you do this with Outlook
.... maybe your IMAP server cannot handle simultaneous logins).
