Could someone please help me?? I cannot get my CD drive to open...I have a Dell XP Home PC.

The problem is most likely in your BIOS, it needs to support 48 bit LBA
address to use more than 127Gb per drive, you might be able to solve this
with a BIOS firmware update.

You can use a paperclip and push inside the little hole on the front of the
CD-DRIVE to manually open - as far as having explorer or any other software
or the button open/close it, you'll need to check with Dell.
