Cant get Movie maker to appear

I have a windows Xp home ed PC with Sp2 applied. It has no movie maker iconm
anyware I can find.

Why?

I have now spent about 6hrs trying to get movie maker 2 via ms update but no
luck.
Why cant Microsoft distribute this software as an MSI like every other piece
of software in the world?

Try the following:

Go to...Start / Run...

Enter...moviemk.exe...press Enter.

If the program is on your system it
should launch.

Also, it may be worth a try to reinstall
WinXP SP2.
