Can't get MM2 to work

On XP Media Edition
I installed " ATI Theater 550 PRO TV Tuner & media recording system "
The TV tuner works fine but when I open Movie Maker and click on:
" Capture from video device " I get an error and every thing locks up.
Any help will be appreciated

I've never been able to capture directly from the TV tuner on my MCE2003
Toshiba laptop, and from what I read others haven't been any more
successful.

There's a pretty active newsgroup at microsoft.public.windows.mediacenter
that might be a better place to ask about it.

I have a DELL MovieStudio w/ROXIO VideoWave MovieCreator and a Break-Out
Box..basically its an Analog set of INPUTS..so a VHS-vcr would be needed to
offer some Signal Generation..I've used it..its NOT very efficient at a level
of S-Video INPUT..which might also "jitter" a small amount(Defrag won't
help)..FIREWIRE is perfect..I always use it.
