Had setup Win 2000 home computer as domain as a test. then
tried to convert back. When rebooted asks for an userid
and password and won't take anything I ever set up. How
can I delete ids/passwords so can get into my computer!

Lois,

Did you promote a server to be a domain contoller using DCPROMO.exe, or did
you just join it to a domain. You will need to log into your computer with
the domain administrator account and password or a local computer account
password if it is not a DC. If you can log into the workstation as an
administrator, you can disjoin from the domain. If the computer you are
referring to is acting as a domain controller, then you will need to run
DCPROMO to uninstall Active Directoy.

Hope that helps!
