Can't get IE 6 or 7 to be Default Browser...

Yes, I have Opera and Firefox on my computer and IE is set to check to see if
it is default....but when I click on a link in an e-mail or web
site...Firefox opens up instead.

What do I need to set to make IE as the Browser that opens for all links?
