Can't get clip to play in contents pane

I've used movie maker before but now I'm on a brand new laptop and for some
reason I can only play the first clip in the window...the rest won't play
that way. I only need to do this so I can capture the pictures at the 640x480
size rather than the 320x240 and can't do this in the storyboard pane.
 
In which case this is what I'd do.
Carry out the work on the older desktop.
Take the laptop back and tell them it isn't working correctly and show them
the problem and let them sort it out, it's what you've paid for. As it could
one of hundreds of things, but most likely something to do with the way they
have installed windows and other apps.
