Sorry it's wordy but...

I have two Win XP machines (ones Pro) that I can't seem
to see network quite right. From the XP Pro machine I
can see the other machine, but when I double click it it
gives me a "\\name of pc is not accessible. You might not
have permission to use this network resource.

As for the other machine it can't even see the Win XP Pro
machine at all in My Network.

Both of these machines can ping one another but not much
else. Both connect through the internet directly through
the router. The Network Setup wizard doesn't seem to
like this way of doing things. If some one has a similar
setup can they tell me how to get these machines
talking?

Thanks.

Paul,

please have a look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxNetwork.htm.

I suspect your issue has something to do with the names and
passwords you use and with the Guest account. You'll find the
solution on the web page above.
