I am trying to pull up the website: www.wageworks.com Every time I
type it into IE, I get:

"We can't find "www.wageworks.com"
You can try again by typing the URL in the address bar above.
Or, search the Web:
Go to MSN Search to see complete results for "www.wageworks.com". "

I tried typing in their IP address, but that doesn't work. I verified
the site is up and running by having a friend pull it up on another
computer. I called my ISP (SBC/AT&T/Yahoo) but they couldn't pinpoint
the problem either. They had me change my security settings, but it
didn't help.

Does anyone have any ideas on other things I can try to get this site
to come up on my computer?

Just wanted to say I fixed this problem on my own, at least long enough
to view the site. My ISP is SBC/AT&T/Yahoo DSL and I also have a SBC
dialup for emergencies. Out of curiosity, I tried dialing in while
still connected to DSL, and I was able to pull up the wageworks site!
It sounds crazy, but it worked.

Four things to try:

1. Clear your TIF and History completely:

2. Check your Cookies folder and delete any cookies that relate to the
sites in question.

3. Check your Hosts file as per this article:
Problems Using Internet Explorer with Incorrect Hosts File
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q219843

More info on the Hosts file:

4. Got to a Command prompt (Start...Programs...Accessories) and type in:

ipconfig /flushdns

Hit Enter.
