I have a chart that I wanted to make an adjustment to the x-axis, but
I can't change tabs when I open the dialogue box because the error
message "The number must be between 1 and 31999. Try again by entering
a number in this range" appears. From messing around with another
chart, I think the box it's having problems with is in the Sample tab,
but I can't get to it because whenever I click on it, it gives me that
error and refuses to switch! Any idea how to get around this?

Zoombini666,

¿PowerPoint version?
"The number must be between 1 and 31999. Try again by entering a number in
this range" appears.

The warning appears if any of the values in Format axis, Scale Tab has a
value of 0.

To be able to change the value from 0 to 1 you must select *the other axis*
(the one without problems) and select the "Scale" tab... When you open
*again* the axis with problems you will be in the "Scale" tab of the
problematic axis and you'll be able to change the offending value...

Cordialmente
