When I run tzmove.exe on Outlook 2003, I get this message:
"Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client
cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Office
Outlook and set it as the default mail client."
So I went to Outlook -> Tools -> Options -> Other, "Make Outlook the
default" was already checked. Un-checked it, clicked apply, checked
it, clicked apply. Closed Outlook. No good.
Went into Add/Remove Programs -> Set Program Access and Defaults, set
Outlook to the default mail client (was Lotus Notes 7). No good.
I don't use Outlook for mail but as a conduit between my Palm and my
Smartphone (and as a general desktop PIM). I set up a dummy mail
account per someone else's suggestion. I first set up my Hotmail
account, and when that didn't work I tried a POP3. No good.
And then I rebooted for good measure.
Arrg, appointments on both Outlook and the Smartphone's time are one
hour ahead. At least it'll just be for a few weeks, or until someone
else provides a decent suggestion.
Thanks,
CD
