I have spent hours trying to find answer in HELP and SUPPORT. I must not be
using the correct keyword(s).

XP can access other two 98SE computers. The two 98SE can access each other, but
they can't access the XP.

How do I enable access to XP machine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. There appear to be a number of other
recent posters with the same problem.

TIA

Thanks, but darned if I know where to find Network Properties. It is not in my
Control Panel or in Network Connections, which is in the CP.

Help for Network Properties (30 items) does not show one entry with words
"Network Properties".

Perhaps this is related to another 'discovery': I found where HELP says to grant
incoming connection access rights, Open 'Network Connections' and click
'Incoming Connections'.

My Network Connections window does not have anything called Incoming Connections
showing. Is Help correct? If so, what might I do now?

Under "Make an Incomeing Network Connection', it says to open 'Network
Connections' and under 'Network Tasks' click 'Create a New Connection'. There
is nothing titled 'Network Tasks'.

Could this have anything to do with the way my XP is set to display
'classically', not the XP way?

Thanks again.

In control panel open Network Connections
Right click on "Local Area Connection" then select Properties
Click the Advanced tab
Uncheck "Protect my computer..."
Click OK

I hope this helps.
