Can't find this error code so don't know what it means

I downloaded and installed windows defender 2 beta the other day. It all went
fine and i scanned with it ok. The next time I put the pc on I had an error
code with defender unable to load the error code is 0x800106ba and it says it
failed to Initialize because of a problem.( doesn't say what problem) I
haven't been able to sort this problem out and cannot find what this error
code means or any referance to it. I have windows xp home edition on my pc.
Any help appreciated.
 
This is a long shot, please check the date and time in your system.
I'm assuming you are in the USA.
