Can't find the server for updates

My updates were listed as 12/5/05. I removed this program and then
reinstalled. not help. I removed this program again, deleted all folders and
file listed under Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware, and then re-installed
again. This time my def are listed as 12/11/05, however I still can't connect
to the server. I suspsect on a new install you will get the latest updates.
here is my error log:

I have the same problem, even though my Internet connection is working
perfectly. What gives?
 
After looking back thru a few logs I see I may still have the same defs, just
a newer date due to install time. O-well

I am having the same problems.
I keep getting messages that say the program cannot find an Internet
connection; as with you and other posters, I have uninstalled, then
re-installed the software.

I am interested to know that I am not the only one with the problem.
