I have run into a problem getting outlook to open
I had this problem on another machine and renamed a .pst file
I can not find in the search of either named: or containing text: this file type to rename
How do I ask for windows search to locate this file
Do I Look in: c or my computer
I am not finding anything

Search your C drive for *.pst and make sure you're looking in hidden/system
folders as well, if using Windows 2k/XP.
What's the exact error you're seeing?

If you're using Windows 2000 or XP, the .PST file(s) may be in hidden (most
likely) or system folders, so make sure to include those in your search.

Dear Lanwench
It is that the Outlook program itself will not ope
It just stops at the very begining of loading the program.

Dear Jocelyn
I just read your reply and I had check marked the include subfolder
When I had this problem before I renamed the ????.pst file and restarted outlook and it was over
The problem this time I can't even find any file types ending in .pst in a search.

Then let's start from the beginning...what happens when you try to start
Outlook?
