I recenlty had to restore my copmputer and since then my
internet connection has sucked, i can only be on foer a
little while and then i get can;t find server, I am
usually still connected but it acts like it is not i then
have to disconnect and reconnect. Would this be a problem
with winsock? Could i have possibly have had some spyware
on my computer and got rid of it when i restored it?

You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK
