"Can't find server"

Hi All

I am using IE6, XP home SP2, DSL connection. Everytime I stay away
from my computer for a couple hours I am unable to resume browsing on
my return. The error message is "can't find server". In order to get
started again, I must reboot the computer.

(The same thing happens with Firefox. Outlook *appears* not to suffer
the same fate all the time.)

Anyone has any ideas as to what may be causing this and how can I avoid
it?

Open "network connections" and find the connection that you are using for
your DSL and look at the properties for it, If their is a "power management"
tab be sure that the box
"allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked.
