cant' find Security Tab

I'm trying to get Norton Systemworks to stop giving me a "Access Denied
Drive C:" error at startup, and in the instructions to fix this it asks
me to click on the Security Tab in C drive properties window. When I
get there however, there is no such tab. I am logged in as Admin. I have
already disables Simple File Sharing.
How do I get this to appear? I know of I've done it before a couple years
ago, but it seems to vanish every now and then.
 
If you are running XP Home boot into Safe Mode and logon as an administrator
account to see the security tab. If you actually are running XP Pro verify
that simple file sharing is disabled by going to Windows Explorer and
selecting tools/folder options/view and uncheck the last option for use
simple file sharing. If that does not work try opening local Group Policy
via gpedit.msc and go to user configuration/administrative templates/Windows
components/Windows Explorer and change the setting to hide security tab to
be disabled. --- Steve
