I'm trying to diagnose a problem where my laptop suddenly
stopped recognizing my Zip Drive (parallel port type).
The Iomega tech suggested locating the device manager,
then changing the SCSI controller settings... this is my
problem, as I get into the device manager, there is no
entry for the SCSI controller - I'm certain that I've
seen it before. What can I do restore it?
Iomage tech support also suggested changes to my parallel
port mode settings. Can't find those either, may be
related to the problem noted above. I'm tempted to just
reformat and start over, except I can't find any
knowledgebase data in the MS support area. Ideas?
Thanks,
Dave
