Can't find posting.

I searched for postings having to do with IE6 not finding
Adobe Acrobat 6.0 when referencing to .pdf files. I found
a posting by G. Lloyd ("Downloaded Adobe Reader 6.0 IE6
cannot ...") dated Sept 4, 2003 11:51 PM in the results of
a search of of the IE6/browser postings. That posting is
not in the postings listed under IE6/browser. (There is a
different one, "How to remove incorrect user names ..."
from Andrew, listed at that date/time.

What is the relationship between postings listed in a
search, and the listed postings under IE6/browser?

Jim,
You posted and searched (presumably) through the CDO interface at MS Support
didn't you? That's an inefficient, awkward way to do either.

Try: http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en
Put "microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser" (without the ") in
the newsgroups field.

Or... use Outlook Express as your newsreader. It's really THE way to go. See
