Greetings,
I have internet explorer 6 installed. I have my network configured
correctly.
I can ping www.yahoo.com, etc without problem. When I try to go to
a url in IE 6, it gives me unable to locate server. I have checked
everything
I can think of.

Why won't it locate when dns is working ?

thanks in advance,
-D

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).

If you are unable to use any of the search engines you may have to deal
with:
Qhosts virus/trojan, ALERT!.

Be sure that you install hotfix 828750 which fixes the exploit that this
virus uses:
