Can't find outlook.pst

I have read numerous threads on where my outlook.pst is located and as far as
I can tell I have none. I am trying to copy my email information from my old
laptop's hard drive (via USB hard drive enclosure) to my new laptop. I have
found the correct folder and selected showing hidden files (both in windows
explorer and through Outlook open pst folders. Nothing. I don't ever
remember making a pst file but all that information has to be somewhere on
that drive. Help!!
