Can't find Netscape Communicator 4.08

Thanks again for finding it. I ran it, it is exactly the old Comm 4.08
in English, works fine. It will work on the laptop (maybe). On my normal
desktop, I gradually use Firebird as modern websites start to choke 4.79
more and more.

The link does not work for me, but probably Navigator, not Communicator.

The link below will take you to the complete communicator
package.. The link does work with IE, Mozilla and NS 7.1 in
Win XP on my end. The files are good and complete. I think
you must have something on your end preventing your access
to the files.

Glad I could help. I take much more from this group than I give. It's
nice to occasionally do something for someone else.

Good luck with the laptop. I picked up an old doorstop (although it's
not quite the antique you're working on) a couple years ago, and loaded
it solely with freeware. Tastes great, less filling.

I've had to repeat 4.08, not 4.8

Might want to check out ftp://papa.indstate.edu/winsock-l/Windows95/WWW-Browsers/Netscape/
at ftp://papa.indstate.edu/ if you have not found it already. They have a lot of the
older apps there.
