Hi,
I successfuly save and close a distribution list made with BCM. Afterwards I
can't find it in my Contacts, Business contacts or Accounts. How do I locate
it?

Thanks,

Peter

What steps did you use to create the DL?

right click in Business contacts window, select new distribution list,
populate it, save and close.
On selecting the 'select members' button I get an error saying that the
contact folder can't be associated or something, then it gives me the
opportunity to choose from contacts, business contacts or accounts. However,
there are duplicates of each. The first in each pair doesn't work, the
second does.

Could this be related to the fact that I have two BCM databases, one of
which was created in error, is not associated with the BCM and which I don't
know how to remove?

Whew.

Thanks

Peter

okay, it seems to work in Contacts but not in Business Contacts. Thisis even
though the option to create a new distribution list appears when
right-clicking in Business Contacts. ? Is it not supposed to work in
Business Contacts?

Thanks

Peter

To get rid of the duplicates, remove the Outlook Address Book service (Tools | Email Accounts), restart Outlook, then add it back in.

BCM does not support DLs in the Business Contacts folder. You may be able to create one on the fly, but the next time you open Outlook, it will look like a regular contact. You can, however, create DLs in your regular Contacts folder that include BCM contacts and accounts.
