I hope this is posted in the correct place. If not please
direct me to the proper place.
Problem:
(1) This problem is associated with Outlook 2000. I am
running Win200.
(2) When I archive my Outlook inbox I get a list of
directories during 'browse'. So far so good. However, when
I try to find these directories using 'explore' I do not
see them.
e.g. In folder 'documents and settings' I find can find
the 'user' I am looking for. However, Outlook (browse
option) says there are folders named 'local
settings/application data/microsoft/outlook'. I cannot
find any of these folders when I use explore. Furthermore,
using the search facility of Win2000 I am told there are
no such items.

This is driving me crazy. I have searched both MS
Knowledge base and google to no avail.....

TIA

JimO

Hope to understand you. You can not see Local Settings folder with your
Explorer. You have to open your Explorer, select Tools/Folder options, View
tab and select Show hidden files and Folders. Now you will be able to see
Local Settings Folder in your user profile.
