Can't find DBX files to import

OK, my XP machine is toast and I bought a new Vista machine. I can not find
my DBX files on my old XP hard drive (fully intact). Since I am looking
from a Vista machine, I don't know if my DBX files are hidden and I just
can't see them in Vista. I have gone into vista and checked the box to
unhide folders to no avail. Search does not help. Please tell me what I am
doing wrong.
