I am having trouble opening a database. I am running a
Windows 2000 machine with 12 users setup in a domain.
( cached as it is not connnected to a lan) When i copy the
database into a subdirectory off the root, I can open it
ok. ( i have admin rights) If I log off and log on as a
different user, they can not find the database. Only the
person who installed the database can open it. These users
only have basic users rights under windows. If an
administrator logs on they can open the database ok.
However any user can log on and open an excel spreadsheet
from the same directory.
I have played with the secrurity settings in Access and it
appears to make no difference. HELP........
