Can't find basic mathematical symbols eg + - * / in Excel 2007

I am new to Excel 2007 and I want to put the basic mathematical symbols ie +
- * /
on the tool bar but can't find them!
 
I don't think you can do that
What is wrong with the keyboard keys for math ops?
 
Hi

Click the round Office button>Excel options>Customise>All commands>scroll
down list looking for "Equal" sign, "Minus" sign, "Multiplication" sign,
"Plus" sign etc and choose to add them to the QAT.
