Can't find a backup ulitity

I have Office EX Standard (for students and teachers). I cannot find a backup ulity. Nor can I find anything about backing up work files in the help files on my computer. Does anyone know why?

Office does not have a backup utility for files. If you have a retail copy
of Windows XP, it is on the CD but will backup only to floppies or a hard
drive partition. If your Windows XP is an OEM copy, likely you do not have
the utility. There are a number of backup and image programs available. A
Goggle search will help.
